The industrial large fan has undergone more than ten years of development to meet the requirements of more applications. The traditional reduced-speed motor fans have been expanded to include permanent magnet motor fans. We all know that permanent magnet motors can be divided into brushless and brushed, so what is the difference between them? Let's compare and analyze.

Industrial large fan brushed permanent magnet motor: The brushed permanent magnet motor of the industrial large fan mainly consists of a stator and rotor, carbon brush, etc. There is a magnetic pole (coil type or permanent collision type) on the stator, and the rotor has a winding. By rotating the magnetic field, it obtains the torque and outputs kinetic energy. The electric brush and commutator constantly make contact and friction, playing the role of conducting and commutation during rotation. After being energized, a magnetic field is formed on the rotor, and there is an angle between the magnetic poles of the stator and the rotor. Under the mutual attraction of the stator and rotor magnetic fields, the motor rotates. Changing the position of the brush changes the direction of the stator-rotor magnetic pole angle, thereby changing the rotation direction of the motor. The brushed motor uses mechanical commutation, and the collision pole does not move while the coil rotates. When the motor is working, the coil and commutator rotate, and the collision steel and carbon brush do not rotate. The alternating change of the coil current direction is completed by the commutator and brush rotating with the motor. They slide against each other, causing frictional wear on the carbon brush. Carbon brushes need to be replaced regularly due to wear and tear. Alternating breaks between the carbon brush and the coil connection can cause electrical sparks and electromagnetic interference, which can easily interfere with electronic equipment.

Industrial large fan brushless permanent magnet motor: The permanent magnet brushless motor used in industrial large fans mainly consists of a stator and rotor parts and does not have carbon brushes. Electronic commutation is adopted; the coil does not move while the magnetic pole rotates. By sensing the position of the permanent magnet body magnetic pole with a Hall element, the electronic circuit uses the sensed information to timely switch the direction of the current in the coil, ensuring that the correct direction of magnetic force is generated to drive the motor. The brushless motor removes the electric brush. The most direct change is that there is no electrical spark produced when a brushed motor is running, which greatly reduces the interference of electrical sparks on the remote control and wireless radio equipment. Without the brush, the frictional force during operation is greatly reduced, resulting in smooth operation and much lower noise. This advantage is a huge support for the stability of operations. Moreover, without brushes, the wear of brushless motors mainly occurs on the bearings. From a mechanical perspective, brushless motors are almost maintenance-free motors.

Although the permanent magnet brushless motor is a further upgrade and improvement of the permanent magnet brushed motor, they have their own advantages and disadvantages and are suitable for different application scenarios. As an industrial large fan that is heavy to use and inconvenient to repair in high-altitude equipment, and is often used in commercial public places, it has relatively high requirements for noise and smooth operation, so the permanent magnet brushless motor is more suitable for use in industrial large fans.

First, pay attention to the size and air volume of the industrial large fan, which is the basis for adapting to the space of the gym. The size of the gym directly determines the choice of the fan. Generally, the diameter of the industrial large fan is positively correlated with the air volume and coverage area. The larger the diameter, the more sufficient the air volume it generates, and the wider the fitness area it can cover. When choosing, it is necessary to combine the actual area of the gym to ensure that the air volume of the fan can meet the overall ventilation needs, creating a refreshing and not stuffy exercise environment for members and avoiding the indoor stuffiness caused by insufficient ventilation...
